In a week and two days, this crazy group will be taking part in God's ever-unfolding story in Moca, Dominican Republic.I love taking a group of students to another Culture to Serve.
It's exciting.
It's humbling.
It's life-changing.
I have yet to have an overseas experience where I didn't see and sense the reality and presence of God in a new light. I've seen students life plans completely altered, new levels of freedom, an understanding that they play a role in the Kingdom.
My prayer is that this year will be no exception...

Derry, I caught your message to big church on the radio Sunday. I planned on telling you that I enjoyed and was challenged by it, but I forgot. That is, until I dreamed last night that I met you in Chicago to talk Cubs and God. Anyway, It's really great to get a look back into the lives and work of the people God used to help me so much. Thanks for sharing!
