Will You Pray?

Hey all you out there in the Blogasphere!
A significant "Aha!" moment for me while in the Dominican was the value of a significant prayer base. I often ask "Why do I see God in such tangible and significant ways when on short term trips?"
I think there are several factors:
1. We are free of the everyday distractions, and therefore more apt to see God.
2. We are more determined and unified, and therefore God blesses the commitment to the cause.
3. I truly believe God reveals himself as we obey his call to "Go!"

BUT, maybe the most significant factor is that I have been intentional to recruit and raise up intercessors who will be committed to cover myself, the trip, and the cause.

Next Sunday, July 9 we take off for what is often the most significant 5 days for NMC Student Ministries. Our Summer Camp is a time where we get away, plug-in to each other, and plug-in to God, and we have a ton of fun in the process.

We need a prayer base! Would you be willing to join in the fight by being an intercessor for our time?

Starting Wednesday, July 5, I will be posting daily on how you can be in prayer for this year's Senior High Summer Camp. While at Camp, I will put updates on this site, as well as provide continued ideas on where to pray!

WE NEED YOU! Will you join us?
