How do you prepare?

You have one month until a significant event, project, or assignment that involves some significant preperation on your part. How do you prepare?

a. sit down immediately and nail everything out, and sit on it for the rest of the month only to revisit it the day before?

b. work steadily through it day by day, bit by bit, and have everything in place by the time comes?

c. think on it without putting together any details until the week prior, and then get it all out on paper?

d. put it to the side and not think about it until at most 72 hours before it is to be done, and then prepare the iv drip of caffeine and tear it off, in the final moments?

e. find yourself on your knees 15 minutes before your deadline praying and quoting scripture about God being made strong in your weakness?

For me, I find myself often in the world of d. and e. I live my best in world c.
As I prepare for the India trip this morning, I'm reminded that with the possible exception of e., there is no right answer above, only 1 right outcome... knowing that you have done what you need to do to make sure God can do through you what he needs to do.
