- My mom and dad bake a birthday cake for Jesus. We sing Happy Birthday to Jesus as a way to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
- At my in-laws, we eat breakfast together. Before breakfast we read the account of the birth story from Luke.
- At my Grandparents (mom's side), someone in the family reads the story "The Christmas Guest", and then everyone gets a candle. 1 by 1, we light our candle and share what has happened in our lives over the past year.
- At my other grandparents (dad's side, both have been gone for 5 years) we would decorate Christmas cookies.
