31 Memories of 2006: Memory #9... Weddings plus a little rant.

I've officiated in 4 weddings this year. The most recent was today.

All of them were exciting and an incredible privilege, but today's was extra special.

Brad Bullock and Kelsey Bender both graduated from NMC.

They went on an IMPACT trip to Ecuador in 2002 with us.
Kelsey and Janelle were roomies on that trip.
In Kelsey's Senior year, she served as a Small Group Assistant to Janelle.
Brad was in our SOAR program in the Summer of 2005.
He was my Senior High Intern last year.
In 2005, they went to Peru with us as IMPACT leaders.
They now are the Youth Directors at New Life Church, and are our partners in ministry.

We absolutely love these two.


A quick rant:
I was watching the USA Network tonight. Their "character of the month" is Britney Spears.
Why?
They cited her weight loss after the baby, and her confidence to leave her marriage of two years.
