I'll be honest. Between Monday, Jan 22 and Wednesday Night, Jan 31 my life was nonstop. I had a little bit of internal strife standing before 2500 people last Sunday and challenging everyone to view busy as an enemy, say no to good to say yes to God, and consider what matters most.
I wish my life was a perfect picture of how I handle the time that has been given me. But I can say this... every minute of Jan. 22-31 was well worth it. The only mistake I could have made was to keep going at that pace. The cool thing, for nearly the past 48 hours, I've been able to shut down and relax. This afternoon, Janelle and I got to spend some time together at a movie. We went and saw Dreamgirls (I would've gone for We are Marshall, but I was up for what my wife wanted to see). Decent movie, had some great moments, could've been about 15-20 minutes shorter. Honestly, the best part of the movie was who I was watching it with. She ranks very high on what matters most to me. I can only think of one person who may beat her out on my rankings, and he was right there in the center of our time together.

I'll make a bunch of comments in one here....kudos on not being too busy...I really want to hear your sermon from Sunday!! Also, lovin' making time for the wife....that's also very important and too easily overlooked.... Also, I'd like to join the prayers for Caleb...let me know what times are open....I'll set my alarm to do it in the middle of the night...keep it up, dude!!
