Is Spidey any good? Does it matter?

Blog world has not produced the best Spiderman 3 reviews (example here, here, here, here)

Despite the rough reviews, it did $150 million in the states, and something like $300 million world wide.

So does it matter that it's not any good.

I believe that movies are the perfect example of why the "People are showing up, so they must be doing something right" mentality is flawed.

Of course, I've said all that, and I'll be going to see it Thursday.

I saw it with some of my youth....it was pretty weak. But if you go in with low expectations then maybe you'll enjoy it more....haha

It was my least favorite of the three...too many story lines written too thin...and the fight scenes with CG used a moving camera, so it was hard to focus on some of the best action....After the first two, I expected much more from it...and was disappointed.

(That said, I've seen it twice, once with my "Movie Nite Guys", and once with my 7 year old son, who LOOOOOOOOOOOVED it. What kind of dope am I?!)

It was ok. You'd probably enjoy reruns of heroes better.
