Seniors, Sundays, and Series

So it's that time of year again...

This weekend marks three straight weekends of ham sandwiches, potato salad, barbecue beef, cake, veggie trays, and lots of miles on the car (a.k.a. Senior Open Houses). Interesting trend this year, I know of 5 Seniors who are opting to not have an Open House Party.

This weekend also marks the Sunday where we honor our Seniors in the morning Worship Services. Part of this includes me sharing the message. It was one year ago this weekend that I was up for the first time on a Sunday Morning. This will mark the 5th time now... kind of crazy.

I'm VERY excited to take part in the current "love wins" series. I'm convinced that the concept behind this series is so important for every person who calls NMC home and claims to be following Christ. This is one of those messages that, as I prepare it, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to let ALL that is stirring around in my heart out in a way that it makes sense. It's at times like this I'm grateful the Holy Spirit is at work in this whole thing.
