Change of Roles

2007 began with me accepting a new position. It was a little under the radar, but it had been in the works for a while... a little over two years. It came out of the realization the position I have been serving in was sucking the life out of me, and taking away from areas where I need to make sure to stay focused in. Plus there are more than enough capable people who could take my position and likely do it better.

Of course, I'm speaking of shifting of positions from 3DYC Sr High Session Director to 3DYC Promotional Director. Seth Bartlette is taking my previous role, and he's already doing a bang-up job at it.

The change in positions makes right now "crunch time." All last week, I've been working on putting together a promotional DVD for this December's event. The finishing touches go on tomorrow, and duplication starts on Tuesday. I'm really excited about some of the steps we're taking to make sure the "word is out" on a great event...
