My Day...

6:45 - Wake Up, get ready, leave "steam messages" on the mirrors in the bathroom to my wife saying "Happy Birthday," I love you.
7:30 - Arrive at the church and fire up the DVDs out on the Student Ministries "Love Wins" displays.
7:45 - Put the final touches on the Kickoff lesson for our Senior High Summer Round Tables Series "Mail from Jail" (a study of Philippians).
9:10 - Meet with the Table leaders for Round Tables. For the first year, we actually have plenty of leaders.
9:30 - Round Tables. Good times. I really sense a positive outlook and anticipation for the move of God in our Senior High Ministry right now.
10:45 - Connection service. Chris Knight, my newest Pastor teammate knocked it out of the park (like out on to the street) talking through Obstacles.
12:00 - Head home. Power Nap.
2:30 - Head out for four Open Houses. 3 weekends, 34 open houses personally, and another 12 covered by other pastors. "God, may these students go out and change this world for your sake!"
5:00 - Over to our best buds the Weiss's to celebrate their daughter's (our adopted niece) birthday.
7:00 - The Effect, our young adult ministry... there's some great stuff going on in this thing.
8:15 - Over to share my heart to the kids our on Senior High IMPACT team. 24 students, 6 adults heading to Juarez, Mexico.
10:00 - Sitting here at home, watching the BoSox, and Yankees.

End of the day thoughts:
I love my wife.
I love my church.
I love working with students.
I love what God's up to.
I'm tired.
I'm taking a "crash day" tomorrow.

Watch Cubs finally win a game. Every win after a losing streak just might be the beginning of a really long winning streak.

I love Alan Trammell.

Are comments supposed to relate to the blog post? I'm sorta new to this.
