Pray for the IMPACT team tonight and tomorrow

Just posted this for Jason Thompson over on his blog. It's about our team of students that are currently down in Juarez, Mexico. If you happen to read this during the times mentioned, would you join us in prayer?

I got a call from Jason this afternoon. Sounds like things are going extremely well. It's VERY HOT there (105 yesterday), and they are definitely battling fatigue. He said that there is a great attitude among the team though.

So, here's the deal... 2 very specific times and ways we can be in prayer.

1. 8:30-10:30 tonight the team will be doing an Outreach at the Baseball in El Million. There have been some great relationships built with the unchurched men of the town through playing soccer over the past nights. They really wanted to play the Americans in baseball. So they are having a game tonight. After the game, the Redeemer drama will be performing, and Robby Burns will be sharing his testimony. Curt Flickinger will also be sharing his testimony with a salvation message.
This is a significant opportunity to share the love of Christ with the men of the community where NMC has set up "base camp" in the Juarez area. Let's pray! Let's really pray like we've never prayed before!

2. There have been a couple of mentions of a young gal named Estella who is under significant spiritual bondage. Tomorrow at around noon, a small group of students is going to be going with Pastor Jason and Pastor Francisco to pray with Estella and her family. This is again a significant opportunity for us to be in prayer for the spiritual battle that is going on for a young Mexican girls soul.

Let's lift the team up in prayer!
