This post from Mark Ostreicher (ysmarko) was very intriguing to me. He references an essay written by Danah Boyd on the "social class" division that is beginning to flesh out between myspace and facebook crowds.
If you are in any way involved with students who are into this stuff, the post and essay referenced are well worth the read.
