Just got done filling out 6 college recommendations. I love helping students in the steps toward their future, but college recommendations/ reference forms are extremely tedious.
By the sixth one, it took everything within me to not just write on it,
"You'd be an idiot not to accept this person."
I don't have a very long attention span.

Fortunately, for most students at most schools it's pretty much a foregone conclusion. The admission rate at all but the most selective schools is astonishingly high. The vast majority of students end up at their first-choice school (or their second-choice after their first-choice admitted them but second-choice gave them a better financial aid package).
So, don't sweat it. It's highly likely Student #6 will get in. On the other hand, he or she might not if you blew off the recommendation or if you did something offensive like call the admissions officers idiots!
