I've Never - the baby edition

I've never...

... changed a diaper.
... fed a baby a bottle.
... driven a car with a baby in a car seat.
... treated diaper rash.
... cleaned up spit up.
... woke up to crying in this house.
... given a baby a bath.
... held a baby for longer than 5 minutes.
... celebrated Mother's Day for Janelle.
... had someone call me "daddy".

I'm looking forward to seeing these change.
Any day now...

Funny how the things that used to gross you out or annoy you about other people's babies are suddenly tolerable and cute in your own!

Still praying with you and looking forward to the good news!

Just remember that babies aren't that much different than Jr. High School kids. 1.They eat all the time 2.Change clothes several times a day 3.Tend to be very self absorbed 4.Will call on you at all time of the day or night, usually for more food 5. Leave messes everywhere they go

If you can work with Jr. High kids, you have it made with babies!

Beware of the "mustard bottle" attacks. I was changing Trace once and he decided to launch his internal goodies at me full force. That my friend is when diaper changing gets interesting.

Not sure those last two on your list can possibly change "any day now", but I quibble. :)
