IMPACT Interviews - Blown Away

Every Summer we do a 10-12 day Short Term Missions trip with our Sophomore through Senior students. We call for a very high level of commitment to be a part of the team. There is also a fairly extensive application process that includes students and parents coming in for an interview.

As we did the interviews today, I was encouraged and challenged as I heard from both students and parents (all below are paraphrased)...

I've got a major passion for those countries facing genocide... specifically Darfur. I want to help people. I can't wait to do that on this trip.
- A Junior Girl

I really want to be challenged to step forward and be more vocal in my leadership.
- A Junior Guy

Recently, God's really been challenging me to put FULL trust in Him.
- A Senior Gal

I'm really wondering if I'm supposed go into full time Missions.
-A Sophomore Gal

We are so excited about what God is doing in our daughter's life. She really seems to have a heart for missions.
- Parents of that Sophomore Gal

It had such a huge impact on my sister (went on an IMPACT trip in 2006), I just really knew I had to go.
- Junior Gal

I am so excited to see how Jesus is going to mess with each life of those going. I'm excited to see how a group of teens will come together and seek to advance God's Kingdom in a place with many needs.
