Lots of Travel time=Lots of reading watching and listening to.
So rather than telling you what I have been reading/watching/listening to, in the Next few posts I would like to let you know what the potentials over the next 10 days.
What I'll Be Reading...
I always take along a few books and end up diving into one.
I've read Barbarian Way by Erwin McManus in the Spring 2005. It left a profound impact on me.
Due to that impact, it has been required reading for every one of our High School IMPACT Short Term Missions teams. As I lead the team this year, I will be reading through it again. I'm looking forward to giving it another run through.
Quiet Strength by Tony Dungy. Huge Colts Fan. Tony Dungy seems to me to be done. I admire the way he has used his celebrity to display his faith with integrity and humility. Janelle gave me this book for Christmas. It will be read at some time. Will it be India? This I do not know.
Totally Wired by Anastasia Goodtein. I've mentioned the Ypulse blog on here before. Anastasia is not a Christian, but she has an incredible pulse on the current Youth trends and culture. As much as I try to keep technologically and culturally up to day, I'm behind the curve. I've also been looking for a good book to direct parents who would like to become more educated on Social Networking, cyberbullying, cell phones, itunes, etc.
Could this be that book?
The Unofficial Guide To Walt Disney World 2008 by Bob Sehlinger. It's official... the Prenkerts are Disney World Freaks. I also enjoy travel books. When will Katylynn's first trip to Disney be? If it happens in 2008, it will be toward the end of the year. So, I'll enjoy reading up on the many aspects of the "Happiest Place on Earth."

Believe it or not, but that Disney book will take you longer to read than all the other 3 books combined. Trust me! I've read all 4 books and the Disney book is the most exhaustive, but you will become an expert.
Thanks for reading the Unofficial Guide! Good luck with your trip.
If you like "The Chronicles of Narnia" and other Christian fantasy, may I suggest a title to try? I wrote "Outcasts of Skagaray" because I felt strongly about the undervalued and rejected people in an ungodly society, and the abandoned children it neglects. The novel is in the form of a fantasy adventure. If you want a free preview, there are chapters on my web site www.threeswans.com.au I would be glad of your opinion. But whether or not you read the book I greet you in the Lord Jesus as a Christian brother.
