As I sat down with the 14 student coordinators in December to brainstorm and dream Kenya Night, I made the comment that I needed to get a haircut. One of the students reminded me of the bold move that Robby Burns made last year as a part of the Maasai Night Auction. He put the rights to cut his hair up for auction.
The thought was thrown out that I should do the same. So tonight, the $200 bidding winner is bringing in an actual beautician to give me a haircut. I will wear my hair however she cuts it through the night tonight, and if it isn't completely gashed up, I will keep the haircut through Sunday morning.
So tonight, the hair is getting chopped for the babies and the Maasai.
