Janelle and I went and caught Indy yesterday. Very little had been spoiled for me yet, so I wanted to catch it early on. I don't want to spoil much for you either. So, here's my review that will try to do very little spoiling...I was pretty disappointed with the 4th theatrical Star Wars release (Phantom Menace) because it looked and felt so little like the first three. It was so over the top. Obviously, this had a lot to do with the significant advancement in Special Effects. This was my greatest fear going into Crystal Skull.
Fortunately, it looked and felt much like the other Indy movies. My final assessment... I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not outstanding, but not disappointing. Definitely over the top at times, but a great final ride.

I'm not so sure about "final"- there seems to be a lot of buzz about a possible fifth (or even sixth), but I'll believe it when I see it.
