BLOGCATION

From the end of May until today, I've been going like crazy. With IMPACT and Summer Camp, I've spent a lot of nights away from my daughter and apart from my wife. In the times leading into the trips, it's been early morning and late nights.

Tomorrow, the pace changes. My Summer officially begins tomorrow. The three of us are heading to the lake for 6 days of sunbathing, swimming, sleeping, and supper (a.k.a. eating, but I was trying to stick to the "s" thing).

A few goals for our time:
  • Take Janelle out on a date (or two). We have multiple babysitters on location.
  • Take my baby girl swimming and on a pontoon boat ride.
  • Read a book or two.
  • Watch at least 4 movies (at least 1 in the theater).
  • Some catch up on my personal journaling.
  • NO CELL PHONE.
  • NO EMAIL.
  • NO INTERNET.
  • NO CHURCH WORK.
It's all about Janelle, Katylynn and my soul over the next 6 days.
I can't wait. Until next Wednesday, enjoy reading this post over and over again.
