It's been a VERY good day here. A few highlights...
- We have some incredible leaders here. INCREDIBLE. They are diving into the lives of students, sharing from their own hearts, and helping in so many different ways.
- This morning, Brad shared about the value of seeking to be open and honest with each other. Sometimes the need for us to stop hiding isn't from God, but from each other. He closed by giving opportunity for students to openly and honestly share from their lives concerning struggles, issues, dreams in their life that have been in them.
- This afternoon, we played hide and seek followed by a photo scavenger hunt. It was a ton of fun, and the students were able to show off their creativity (hopefully more on that tomorrow.
- We did get rained on. Fortunately, the timing allowed us to proceed on the day as originally planned. The storm looks to be rolling in tonight, and we're praying that it is completely cleared by the morning.
- Tonight in the session, we had a surprise visit from 3 individuals biking from Pensylvania to San Francisco in an effort to raise awareness for Invisible Children. It was a cool moment for the kids to see people who are seeking after those things that God is passionate about.
- The focus of tonight's message was about inviting us to "count the cost" and truly consider if we are willing to SEEK after God with all our hearts. At the close, students were invited to stand one by one, and say, "I have counted the cost. I want to seek after God with all my heart." Many responded to this tough invitation, and I would say there are those whose lives will never be the same because of what happened tonight.
Keep praying that wall will break down, and students will come out of hiding and start seeking God.

I could not be there with our kids - but I have been lifting them up in prayer. I am praying God will open hearts and show Himself to many students in a way that will just blow them away. I have been following your blog and will continue to pray specifically.
