It's more or less booked...
Katylynn will take her first trip to the Sunshine state in early December and pay her first visit to Mickey the day she turns 13 months old.
Janelle and I have been to Disney World 5 times and Disneyland once. Every time there, we would watch other families at the park and dream about the time where we would bring our own family to enjoy the place we've grown to love. Now we get to do it! It won't be a lot, and obviously she's not going to remember much of it, but we are excited to start building the memories.

I'm not ready to put a countdown clock on this blog or anything, but I love doing the research and researching, budgeting, booking, and planning vacations. I love travel. I've greatly valued the time Janelle and I have been able to spend together, undivided focus. I cherish the memories we've created. I've enjoyed the two getaways we have had with Katylynn thus far, and am excited for more. We financially invest a lot into our vacations. It's not that we're rich. We run a tight ship on a lot of other things so we can invest in our vacations. And notice, I use the word "invest" because I truly believe every cent spent is an investment in my family.
I love ministry. I love people. I can't dream of doing anything different than what I do. But the role and the pace can and will take a toll on my soul, my marriage and now my children if I don't prioritize "retreat" regularly.
