From Timothy to Barnabas

I'm starting to meet Monday mornings with a group of Senior guys to pray. The goal is to seek God's face before heading into the week at school.

Two of the guys who join me are Austin and Carter. They are a cool story. Although lifelong friends, it wasn't until Jr High that Austin invited Carter to join him at church. Carter got involved, and encountered a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Now a Senior, Carter serves as a key leader in our ministry. He and Austin spur each other on in their walk with God. They are both very unique and extremely creative guys. Their friendship is both fun and encouraging to watch as they truly sharpen each other.

I took this classic shot this morning when Carter walked in after Austin, only to discover they had the same t-shirt on. The awkwardness made me laugh!
