I voted this morning

At precisely 8:00 a.m. I walked into my voting location. At 8:08, I walked out. No line at all (one of the benefits of living in small town, usa).

I took my ballet and sat behind the little privacy folder (much like the folders I would set up around my desk so nobody would copy off me).

I took a moment to bow my head and pray, asking God to give me wisdom and to allow this to be a peaceful election process. I also prayed for others who would sit in the same chair I was in, that they would be granted wisdom and ultimately put the trust in the One who is greater than this election.

Then, I started filling in the ovals with my little marker. I didn't vote for every race because there were many names I was unfamiliar with.

Who got my vote for president?
Well, I believe it's time for a change... that's why I did not vote for George W. Bush!
