What I saw last night...

  • I saw a nation make a major statement concerning their feelings on our current economic situation.
  • I saw urban areas and a younger generation make the difference in the election... Just look at Indiana's county layout, and consider the major universities and cities.
  • I saw a concession speech by John McCain filled with class and dignity.
  • I saw the faces of thousands at Grant Park (many different ages and races) filled with hope and belief that this nation is on the verge of change for the better.
  • I saw an acceptance speech that I'm convinced will have moments and statements replayed for years to come in the same vane as "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country" and "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."
  • I saw an incredibly historic last night, as the U.S.A. elected its first African American President.
That's some of what I observed last night. I'm intrigued to see where this goes from here. Barack Obama has clearly stated that he is a follower of Jesus Christ. I am praying that he will be driven to lead out of that faith that he has expressed.

I'm sorry but I disagree about Obama's "Christianity" I can't see how he can make that statement then not be pro life. Obama is about as far from pro life as a politician can be.

Brian, I didn't say whether or not Barack is a Christian. I said that he has made the statement that he is one. My prayer now is that he will lead in a way that one who follows Christ would lead. That he would allow the Holy Spirit who leads us in to truth to do so.
