We tried something different this year. December 28, we're heading to Spring Hill Camp in Evart, Michigan for our 1st ever NMC Student Ministries Regional Winter Retreat. For the previous 11 years we had been to 3DYC... a youth conference put on by 3 Districts of our denomination. We love 3DYC and believe in it, but were faced with the reality that it may not be the best option for us. So, we took a bit of a risk by trying something different. Well, we're pretty pumped. In a year where our weekly attendance is down and a challenging economy, we have a huge turnout. Last year, we took 156 Junior and Senior High students and leaders to 3DYC. Right now we have nearly 180 NMC students alone registered!
We are praying that God will use this event to transform lives and catapult us into an exciting 2nd half of the school year!

Can I just say how jealous I am that you are going to Spring Hill? I havent been up there for years. I garuntee you, it will be well worth it and it will be a blast.
