Grieving... One Month Later

  • It becomes more real.
  • There's no "going back to normal." It's finding the new "normal."
  • Mornings tend to be tough.
  • There's times I think I'm okay, and I feel a little guilty about that.
  • It hits at weird times, in weird ways.
  • Others haven't forgotten, but they are able to move on a lot faster.
  • A random note/text/"I'm thinking of you" goes a long way.
  • The one month anniversary point stunk.
  • It is incredibly beneficial to have a rock to stand on. (actually, it's essential)

I prayed a lot for your family over the weekend. It was so good to see your mom and Kirby's family at the Bethel game last week. There will be bad days, but God seems to be the most near during those rough days.

I can so totally relate. I remember being where you are right now.
