Can I ask which international adoption agency are you using? Nicki and I have been looking into adoption for a while now.

Holt International. They've been around for a real long time. We found some options that were a little cheaper, but the glowing reviews without a single bad report from people we trust made us feel they were the way to go... http://www.holtintl.org/
