The Bizman Leaveth

Today is the day Caleb Bislow leaves for the Maasai Project Trip 2.

We just sent in a check to Kingdom Building Ministries on behalf of NMC Student Ministries that will make our support raised for this thing over $15,000!

But here's the big deal right now. Caleb needs prayer support for his trip... Here's what he has sent us...

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1. That God would give us opportunities to lead people to Christ. Pray with boldness. *Last time I went my wife prayed that a whole tribe would come to know Christ and on that same day on the other side of the world a whole tribe came to know Jesus.
2. That God would grant us favor with the Morans (A warrior sect of the Maasai) and that many of them would give their hearts to Christ.
3. That God would give our families rest and peace of mind while we are gone.
4. That God would give us wisdom in the planning of the mobilization conference. We will be deciding…

  • where to have the conference
  • how to best minister to those that have never heard in a nonconfrontational way
  • how to start a discipleship process with the new believers
  • how to attempt planting churches with the discipled believers
  • how to mobilize 100-1,000 Maasai Christian leaders from the conference center out to numerous unreached areas

5. Health. Overseas and sickness often go hand in hand. Please pray.
6. That God would keep Jess and Trace safe as they travel back to see her parents in Michigan. And that God would keep us safe in our travels to Kenya, in the charter plane, driving through Kenya, among the Maasai, and during our encounter with the Morans.
