I'm heading over to New Life Fellowship tomorrow night to hang with the Senior High. Pretty excited about that.
At NMC, we're in the midst of a Series called Christ Follower. We're taking time to really ask what it means to Follow Christ. As we thought about this series, I really wanted to figure out a way to get my pal Ted Gerring in to share what God's doing in his life. Well, the stars have aligned, and Ted's going to be at NMC tomorrow night sharing with our Senior High Students.
Last week we were challenged by a dude heading to Africa to share God's story with the unreached maasai tribe. This week, we get to here from a guy who left a pretty promising career and life on the West Coast to head into the roughest neighborhoods of inner-city Chicago and serve. I hope we realize how privileged we are to have these kairos opportunities!
