God wants to take us on a progressive adventure in prayer, moving from monochrome spirituality to full color surround sound interactive! This may mean learning to open our eyes to pray instead of shutting them. It may mean noise as well as silence and harmony. It may mean movement as well as stillness.
I also believe God is challenging us as a movement of young people to dare to feel the pain all around us. To move from praying “for” people from the comfort of our own salvation to interceding “with” them from a position of need.
Maybe this is what prayer is all about; one minute you’re kneeling in quiet contemplation, the next you’re kneeling by an unconscious girl; one day you talk to God, and the next you talk to people about God.
We’ve always known that God’s spirit can fill people. But sometimes we forget that He can fill places too! When a place hosts hours of continuous prayer, it can sometimes become so full of God’s presence that even non-Christians sense His proximity.”
Prayer without action is just religion in hiding.

Heaven is filled with a room that will surprise all of us when we see it. The room has within it large boxes neatly packaged with a lovely ribbon on top with your name on it, "Never delivered to Earth because never requested from Earth."
"Prayer is not a substitute for work, thinking, watching, suffering, or giving; prayer is a support for all other efforts."

I hope summer camp goes well! We will pray for you here. I like the focus on prayer. A teacher told me once that when we pray to remember that we are entering before the throne of God. It's not really a quote but a good reminder of the awesomeness of the situation.
