Today officially marks the beginning of a new Ministry year for me. On the morning of our Fall Kickoff, I find that it's time for me to make some commitments (to view last year's commitments, go
here). Some are the same as last year, some are new to this year...
- I Will Not use numbers as the scale for our ministry's success or failure.
- I Will Not allow how a Wednesday night "goes" to be the basis of my own Spiritual Health.
- I Will Not allow the "job" of the Church to get in the way of my own walk with Christ or my marriage.
- I Will Not challenge students to go where I have not gone or am not willing to go.
- I Will Not neglect my personal prayer life.
- I Will Not let "the majority" be what guides us.
- I Will Not let this become all about me.
- I Will continually raise the banner of Prayer.
- I Will make sure we are laughing and not taking ourselves too seriously.
- I Will make sure that the driving force of our ministry are Personal Pursuit, The Word, Prayer, and Relationships.
- I Will give it my all.
- I Will take time to rest.
- I Will seek to raise up multipliers.
- We Will see God MOVE as we MOVE on our Knees.
- We Will create space for God to MOVE in our Hearts.
- We Will make every effort to come alongside God as he MOVES in our World.

hmmmm.....I guess why state something you know you can't achieve? (I won't be making the claim either!)
