Friday, Saturday, or Sunday fan?

This weekend marks the full "kickoff" of the Football weekend marathons. The very unique aspect of football season is each day of the weekend brings a different level and taste of football.

Friday Night, you get the High School game.

Seeing players develop.
Personal relationship with the players.
Cross-town Rivals.

Saturday brings the College Game.Huge Crowds that bleed their team colors.
Alumni and traditions.
The mess that is the BCS.
Tons of games on multiple channels.

Sunday is NFL.

The best of the best.
Nothing better to take a nap to.
The Fantasy Football connection.

Between the three, most football fans have their favorite. Personally, if I had to rank them, I'd go...
1. NFL
2. High School
3. College

Why? I really don't have any compelling arguments. My reasons have nothing to do with believing one game is fundamentally better than the other.

The NFL wins because I have a team. It's the only "team" I really have in any sport... the Indianapolis Colts. My love for Fantasy Football makes me watch with more focus. I know the teams and players better because of it as well.

High School gets second because I love watching the students I work with play. That's pretty much it.

I still enjoy college, but I rarely sit through an entire game.
