A few things to get excited about

I'm pretty pumped about a few things happening here at NMC...
  • Next Wednesday, in my absence, the one and only Corey Mann is stepping into the box. I love when Corey and his GCC buddies come over and share. It helps us remember there's more than "just us" out there seeking Jesus.
  • On Wednesday, October 31, NMC is having the Fall Shabang! It's a churchwide Outreach event. It is an one-night opportunity for followers of Christ to strategically invest in their existing relationships with friends, family members, and neighbors who are unchurched, spiritually lost, or struggling. We're offering various age-specific elements on the night. In Sr. High, we're going to have a big Tailgate Party in the back lawn, a special performance by 321improv in the Gym, and then a few students sharing their stories.
  • For October/ December, we are taking 5 weeks for our Global Impact theme of "Regeneration". Rather than focusing geographic for global impact this year, we are focusing demographic. The goal is to "redefine" how the church views the next generation. Many see dry bones, but there is an army waiting to rise up. I have a feeling it is going to be a significant point for us as a church.
  • We're trying something Wednesday, October 17 to "stretch our box" of worship. Here's our promo video that highlights it.

I'm excited about the next couple of months. Lots of good stuff!
