Two Couples in love

I'm currently sitting at a table in the Main Street Coffee House (I'm working on India, semester schedule, tonight... one of those days I've got to get out of the office to focus).

On each side of me are couples.

One is an older couple sitting across from each, each reading the paper, and sharing what they are reading together. They have laughed, shook their head in concern, and looked each other in the eye every time they stopped. They are clearly in love and have loved each other for a long time.

The other is a younger couple is nearly sitting on top of each other... holding hands talking through what's happening in life. No rings on their fingers. They aren't being obnoxious in their pda, but they clearly aren't afraid to let the world know they are in love.

In both cases, I'm reminded how cool love is. How love goes deeper than feelings, emotion or touch. How the greatest force in the world is love. It can move people to greatness, and drive people mad.

Random thoughts on love by Derry in a coffee house as he waits for his lunch.
