Barbaric Parenting Advice (Part 1 of 6)

I reread The Barbarian Way by Erwin McManus over the past month. It challenged me this time in ways much different than the first time. Specifically challenging me this time was some of Erwin's thoughts on making sure parent's don't raise their children to become "domesticated Christians".

There were 6 specific quotes for the book that messed with me... I'll share them with you over 6 posts.

He (Erwin's son Aaron) reminded me that I had committed to him that he would never have to pretend to play the Christian game.

That, my friends, may be a major difference between teaching our children religion, or teaching them authentic relationship with Christ.
