Oh, I love this show.The twist they took at the close of Season 3 allows for the similar "off the island/on the island" flashes, but now with a whole new mysterious side...
Hurley can see Jacob?
Charlie says, "I'm dead, but I'm here as well"?
The castaways taking up sides?
Where are the Others, and what's going to happen to them?
Who are the other 3 of the Oceanic 6 that Hurley refers to (we know Jack, Kate, and him)?
Those who have been hooked on this show, are you like me at all?
As much as I'm looking forward to this mini-season, I'm absolutely dreading that (thanks to the writers strike) I will undoubtedly be left disappointed with where these 8 episodes will leave me.

Hey Derry believe it or not I'm with you! Bearss and I watched the season premiere as will and after I saw that I went home and started watching season one like crazy!! I love it it's great but Jack isn't very good at HORSE!
