As a part of our TAWG series, we have set up a 1-day event called SATURDAWG. We meet tomorrow morning at the church, then head out to the Bethel Retreat Center at Dewart Lake. The Yoders (super cool family very involved with NMC Student Minsitries) also have a place right by the two buildings that make up the retreat center.
What are we going to do?
Spend the Day Alone With God.
That's the agenda. We'll take about 30 minutes to give some directions. We've set up a few "stations" to assist in the time, and we're providing lunch. We'll pull together and take some time to share how our time went before heading back to the church at 4:00 p.m.
When we planned it, we wondered, "Would any students actually want to do this?" We have 25 students signed up, and another 8-10 leaders who will be joining us.
I'm encouraged, and excited!

I wish I could be there...sounds awesome. A Saturdawg is a great idea! I am very much looking forward to my DAWG coming up in a few weeks. I'll be praying for you and the students.
