Gas Prices
- In 1998, when I was at Bethel and interning at NMC, I would drive from Mishawaka to Nappanee 5-6 times a week. I remember filling up at the 7/11 for anywhere from $.89 to $.97 per gallon during that year.
- Gotten the email telling you to boycott a couple of brands will bring down prices??? It won't work.
- How about the "don't buy gas for 1-3 days" email? It won't work either.
- Chart for Indiana prices over the past 6 years.
- A little widget that gives you gas prices by the state, and last year's price

As someone in the business, the prices right now are ridiculous and all over the place. The last three nights here are the changes in gas: Down 11 cents, Up 14 cents, Down 9 cents. No rhyme or reason to it, but the fact that we've gone from 15 major oil companies 10 years ago to 4 now seems to be an issue, in my opinion. Thanks, also, for blowing up those email campaigns. All you'd end up doing is hurting local businesses like mine who are most likely making less at these higher prices.
