Several have told me they are opting out of Mustache May because they look ridiculous with a Mustache.

You need to ensure that all those taking part in mustache May fully shave at some point on April 30th. If not, those that don't will have a "stache start" and we really cannot attribute all "stache growth" to May. Just a thought.
