On ESPN First Take this morning, there were some very enjoyable topics debated...
1. NFL Kick Returner v. Bear... If a NFL kick returner caught a ball on his goal line and there was an 800lb black bear at midfield and the returner had to score a td, staying in bounds, or be eaten- who would you take- the bear or returner?
A bear specialist and Atwaan Randel El were on to debate the topic. I think I'd go with the returner. The overall speed of a bear is faster, but the quickness and shifting of Kick returners would win out.
2. Indiana Jones movie opens today. Is Indiana Jones the best action movie hero of all-time? Superheros were disqualified. 4 individuals weighed in on this. There were four names mentioned.

Pretty decent list. I can't think of anyone they would be missing that really should be mentioned. Jason Bourne took a 75% vote. John Rambo received 1 vote. Indiana Jones and John McClain were scoffed as options. Personally, I would order those four...

Not sure if Bourne is a "hero" in any true sense of the word. Plus, Indy is a professor, which makes him doubly cool. Did Bourne rediscover the arch? What about the Holy Grail? Come on, people!
I'm going with Indy (though I don't have high hopes for the movie).

Well said. I think our host is just smarting because there are no youth pastor movie heroes.
Yes I did enjoy the bourne movies. I was just disappointed with the end of the 3rd movie...to say the least.
You could argue that Indiana Jones saved the world from the Nazi's..while McClain saved the world from terrorists...Bourne from a bad gov't program...and Rambo saved the less fortunate in Vietnam...
I'm a sucker for the reluctant hero type...and in a way they all portray that at times...but you know my vote.
