Before we left for Mexico, I had a post (read it here)about the crap-storm that tends to break lose before a big trip.

Well, in the past two weeks:
- My mac crashed while working on promo videos for 3DYC. I had to wipe the hard drive clean and start over again. Those videos need to be done before I leave Friday.
- I did a funeral for a 25 year old who died of cancer. I'd never met her but knew her husband. When the funeral was over, I felt like I had finished running a marathon. I went home and slept nearly 12 hours.
- Since Tuesday, I've had 4 different phone calls about students in major crisis points. 3 were family members who were in need of encouragement. 1 was an out of line and misinformed "why isn't the church doing its job" busybody. The 3 were well worth my time and taxing, the fourth reminded me how to rely on the Spirit when the body is weak.
- This afternoon, while working on my messages for camp, my pc froze up on me. I had 3 active files open that I hadn't saved (stupid me). Lost them, and starting over.
So, I'm frustrated right now, and I'm incredibly encouraged. I hate to sound trite and overspiritualize, but I can't help but believe there are some big things in store for this Summer Camp, and the enemy is working overtime to distract, aggrivate and frustrate me.
So, I'm praying. Join me in praying for the Camp, for my family, and for me.
