I went on the trip, but I missed the adventure.
In reference to his trip to Mount Rainer where he didn't make the last leg of the trip to a special peak.
Every day we (IJM) start out in 30 minutes of silence & spiritual preperation. We stop again at 11:00 a.m. and take another 30 minutes. We don't do this out of discipline. We do this out of desperation.
My prayer is that God would rescue you from all things petty.
That last one felt like a direct word from God for me!
