For the past two weeks, I've posted some polls on the side bar. My goal has been to simply put them up and see what readers think. I don't really plan to add much commentary or personal opinion on these, but I thought I'd weigh in on one that is kind of surprising me.
The question is...
You have 7 days, all expenses covered. Where do you go?
European Vacation is running away with the votes. In one sense, I understand how this would be the ideal for most, but the one condition on this scenario that makes me hesitant toward voting this way is that it's 7 days. 14 days, and no doubt about it, I'm in. I would strongly consider it for a 7 day vacation still, but...
Where would you go on this 7 DAY trip? Italy? Britain? Germany? Spain? Greece? Switzerland? France? And that's just a few of the country options... not even hitting the many cities involved.
What would you do? What would you see?
Also, throw in the 4-7 time change to adjust to, and I personally would look to the other options in order to truly soak in, enjoy, and relax through a 7 day vacation.
Obviously, the all-expense paid gets you the most "bang for your buck" when you go to Europe.
I'm a bit of a Mickey-freak, so it may be no surprise I'd lean toward a "break the bank" Disney Vacation (currently in last place).
Go during a down season (September, mid-November, early December).
A Deluxe on-site Resort.
All the finest of the Disney dining establishments.
Hitting all the "extras" (Cirque Du Soliel, Disney Quest, Behind the Magic tour, Water Parks).
The freedom to visit the parks over multiple days while feeling free from the "I paid so much for this day, I've got to go at break-neck speed" mentality.
Of course, there are no right or wrong answers to this one, and it is of extremely low importance when considered in the grand scheme of things.
