3 Things I love about my iPhone- All in One: Voice, Text, Email, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, quality digital camera, music. I can get away with one device.
- Synchronization: For an incredibly disorganized guy, being able to synch up my calendar, contacts, and mail to and from my phone is a huge help.
- Kid Entertainment: Although we are extremely cautious on how much and how often we let them use it, when we find ourselves in a constrictive situation where our kids are waiting on us (meaning they can't run around, laugh, scream, loot the place, etc.) there are several games and apps that will keep them engaged.
3 Things I do not love about my iPhone
- Always "on": The general expectation is that I should be immediately available.
- Cost: Is it really a wise expense?
- Too Many Phones too Young: This isn't so much about my iPhone, but I would say giving a Middle School Student a cell phone is risky. Giving him/her a smart phone is downright stupid.

I have been an iPhone user since Christmas Day. Here three things I love: 1. Ziplist. Not having to carry a paper and pen through the grocery store is so nice.
2. YNAB (You Need a Budget). I can immediately enter my transactions into it and don't have to worry about a stack of receipts piling up at the home computer. 3. MyFitnessPal App. 4. Having our family calendar on me at all times. 5. Mini Bose. Ben got this for me along with the iPhone and I love it. I can take it anywhere in my house (or out, I guess) and as long as my phone is within 10 feet I can listen to podcasts and music. Makes cleaning SO much more tolerable. 6. The camera.
The main thing I don't like is what you said- the feeling of having to be constantly available. But I just leave it in my purse/coat/car if I don't want to be bothered. I don't have kids apps yet b/c I don't want them asking me to play it.
